"There are some people you meet that are so life-changing you know the second that they open their mouths to speak, you're hooked in. Thandi was a storm, a powerful, feisty tornado ripping through a world that, before she got there, she'd have never belonged in. A trailblazer, a trendsetter, and a woman who spoke more languages than anyone I have ever met, and that's telling you something in Politics, she was beautiful, chaotic, and utterly impossible to forget.

Whether you knew her platonically, romantically, or professionally, as I was lucky enough to know her, she left an imprint in your life that changed everything. She never spoke about her hardships, choosing to work hard and play harder and celebrate the things she did have rather than the things she didn't and could do anything she put her mind to. She was a fighter, and a lover, and everything you could wish for in between, and she'll be missed."
