"The thing about Scott is that even though you stepped away from him, he was always open to coming back. He was lighthearted like that, willing to take the short end of the stick if that was all he could have. He always did what he thought was right, even if it broke some rules. And he did break some rules. But he made good on his promises too. He made good on his promises for his daughter Cassie. He was Cassie's favorite person, and now she doesn't get to grow up with a loving dad. Because he loved her so much. Even if me and Jim have a family, Scott can never be replaced."
